In #Jaipur's Jhalana Doongri slum, the #secondwave of #Covid has had a devastating impact on livelihoods. Newslaundry met three women – Kasni Devi, Basanti Devi, and Ruby Sharma – who explained how the pandemic resulted in the loss of their incomes.
Even as they struggle to make ends meet, the women said that government #welfareschemes such as pensions and ration distribution have not helped them at all.
